Meet your host
For more than a decade, Randy has worked at the intersection of culture, territory and human experience. His background includes architectural practice, heritage projects, public art initiatives, cultural production and international collaborations, including work connected to the Havana Biennial and the interpretation of significant cultural and historical spaces
Since settling in Cantabria, he has developed a growing network of artists, cultural institutions, musicians, local initiatives and places that together form a unique gateway into the region.

Some places are visited; others are understood through the people who know them, the conversations they inspire, the stories they hold and the perspectives they reveal.
Cantabria rewards those who take the time to look closely. Between the Cantabric coastline and the Pasiego valleys lies a territory shaped by traditions. Its most memorable experiences are often found beyond the obvious.
Architecture
Understanding a territory through its buildings, materials and stories. Romanesque naves, rural stone houses and quiet contemporary interventions, read together as a long conversation between people and place.
Music
Private musical moments and cultural conversations. A piano found in a place a guest did not expect. Jazz, boleros, an evening of pieces chosen for the room and the hour, shared with a small circle of listeners.
Gastronomy
Selected restaurants, local producers and authentic flavors. Tables kept by people who know their valley, their boats, their cellar — meals that taste of where they were grown, fished or aged.
Sea
The bay, the coastline and private navigation as another way of reading the landscape. Cantabria seen from the water — its cliffs, fishing villages and quiet inlets returning a different account of the same territory.
